Club Plaque: I enlisted the help of local Architect Uel Henry to design club plaque. We decided to stick with the Gold/Black colouring. The two Wheatsheaves represent the fact Cookstown was a market town and the red hand to represent the fact we were based in Tyrone and played our rugby under the Ulster Branch.
The plaques were provided by J Wood Stuart Ltd in Belfast and their final drawing is included.
Club Colours: The reason we ended up playing in Gold and Black hoops was very simple. We were given a set of jerseys for the first match by a social team who no longer needed them. We decided to stick with the colours. Below is a picture of my original jersey from the very first match which I still have today.
Club Tie: We decided to keep this simple. Plain black tie, with two yellow stripes and club logo. See pictures.
